Re the mountains, they are pretty, but not as spectacular from our vantage point as the ones in Vancouver or Bolzano. And I think you’re right: I think the ones in my photo are the Cascades to the east, not the Olympic to the west. I need to double-check the set on my camera to and figure out which is which. Or just go take more photos…

Although the Cascade mountains were pretty, they really don’t hold a candle to the Italian Alps and the mountains right near Bolsano!. The houses and the cherry trees look nice; and I am glad that you have finally been able to take some pictures after working through the travail of both taxes and the dead computer. Talk about a One-Two Punch, you had a double whammy. I hope things will be smoother now.
