Sorry for the break in the posting recently. I’ll blame it on a recent focus on packing suitcases as well as packing in as much as possible in Verona during our final days there .That, combined with not always having a computer available to work on and not always having reliable internet access led to a lack of posts this week.
So we left Verona on Friday. After a brief overnight in Rovereto to visit some friends, we arrived in Bolzano today. We’ll spend the next 5 days in our former “home” town. I’ve added a Bolzano web cam over on the right hand side of the home page of this blog, under the “webcams” section. The page I’ve linked to updates the image periodically, and keeps a running log of a day’s worth of photos. If you look at the photo, the big pink building behind the statue of Walther is the Hotel Città, our home in Bolzano for the next 5 days.
BTW, I’ve also added a “subscribe” button below that. If you enter your email address there, and then click on “subscribe”, you’ll get an email notification each time a new post appears on the blog. I’m hoping to be able to do this fairly regularly, but since we’ll be moving around quite a bit for the couple of months, and the internet might not always be reliable, I may not get a post up quite as often as I would like (cf. this past week!). So subscribe to keep posted — literally — on what’s going on with the 22gether wanderers.
Anyway, I’ll leave it here for now with what I might call a quick reflection to say farewell to Verona: Plan G, Phase 2″. Or, in other words, here’s a quick photo of Verona seen in reflection the Adige River our last night in Verona. ![]()
More from Verona, Rovereto and Bolzano coming soon…
