Today’s post really should have been a Travel Tuesday, but I didn’t get it done yesterday. So maybe you could think of it as a Travel Tuesday that wandered to Wednesday.
Anyway, we were in Orland, CA earlier this month. While I didn’t get a photo of the town, we did visit a nearby reservoir at sunset, where there was water and some interesting trees.
This next one is a little bit of a trick, in that the water is made bluer here by making the photo into a cyanotype black and white print, which tints it blue, and emphasizes the shape of the tree:
Now, this last photo has nothing to do with the reservoir, but it was also taken in Orland. I took it by the pool that was behind the charming house we were staying in:
Actually, it a photo of the pool – or more specifically, things reflected in the pool.
Except some of the things are really in the pool, and not part of the reflection. BTW, the image is turned upside-down; but then, I’m sure you already guessed that. ![]()
