Dateline: London
As many of you correctly recalled (and thanks for your emails!), we left Lisbon today and flew to London. Yes, we’re back where we started our Plan G adventures almost 2.5 months ago.
Our adventures don’t end here, of course. For the coming week they will be located in the UK. I deliberately didn’t say “in London”, though as we’re planning a day trip tomorrow to meet up with a friend in Oxford, which is just an hour away by train.
At this point in our travels, I’m not optimistic about Internet connection here in London. But I’ll see if I have a moment to at least post a photo or two soon from somewhere, since I have lots to show you all at some point.
As usual, we’ll have to hope for the best this week about that.
In the meantime, here’s a page of webcams from London. As it turns out, these webcams may or may not be working at any given moment.

The view from the end of our street
I’ve already posted a link to a live webcam over the St. Mark’s Basin in Venice. That’s the name for the body of water where the Grand Canal, the Giudecca Canal join; the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute is the big domed church in the middle of the two canals. Continue reading
