When last I wrote, we were in Santa Fe, having just spent over a week there. On Monday afternoon though, after a final fabulous lunch at a place called Cafe Pasqual’s, we ventured just an hour south to get to Albuquerque. We had some great meals in Santa Fe, actually — lots of New Mexican style cooking, including Red or Green Chile Sauce, black beans, and green chile and cheese tamales. Continue reading

Sorry for the lack of posts last week – it was a bit hectic as we came back from 4 packed days in NYC, prepared for, and then actually did a road trip across 2/3 of the U.S: 4 days and 2000+ miles to get from NJ to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Just a quick note today – between paperwork and packing I ran out of time to do a proper post. Chris and I are still in NJ today, but head up to NYC tomorrow by bus to spending a long weekend checking out some museums. They have a few, so I think we’ll keep busy.
